They let groups go in 20 minute waves. My goal was to pace Callie to something below 22:00. We didn&#39;t quite do it but close. The course was pancake flat except at the turn around which had a bout a 30-40 ft rise for about a tenth of a mile. We ran along the beach in Hunington Beach, California.</p> <p>This was a pretty easy effort for me as my HR only averaged 154 which is below avg marathon pace. The last 5K I ran was back in 2012.
