Can you believe it...! It went from 90 degrees yesterday to the high of 47 today, raining and a 25 MPH wind. Nedless to say I didn't run outside and this was my first double digit run this season. Ran it hot and slow at the gym.

The weather cleared up some this afternoon, only a light drizzle. This is the first "fast" miles I have run in a long time. It's interesting that my HR was exactly the same out and back even though the run out is slightly downhill and back is slightly uphill. I guess that's because I didn't do any warm up, just ran out the door and took off. My legs felt good but my cardio was struggling...as usual. This is way off my 5K pace, but I haven't run one since 2014 so I guess it's not a fair comparison. :-)

Wow, what a difference a little cool weather makes. I felt like I could run again! A nice progressive run from the first 4 to the second 4 with a nice 7 flat for the last mile.

Just read an article about how the Kenyans train. Much different than we do. One thing is they run all their long runs really slow at the start and progressivly get faster to where they are basiclly sprinting at the end!

Truly an easy Recovery run for me. Feeling good but took it easy because I'm running 10 tomorrow. It was 57 degrees, raining and actually pretty nice! 4 Miles at an unknown pace - No Watch!

I didn't feel very good on this run. 75 degrees, I felt like I bonked on this run even though it was slow.
