Drove home from Oklahoma yesterday so no running.

A little tired this morning but managed to get out for a 10 miler. I'm still waiting on a nice cool front so I can have my break-thru run. :-)

Nothing special on this run but I did manage a decent progressive effort run from start to finish. I am definitly putting out less effort and running faster than a month ago. I have gained about a full minute per mile with the the same HR Average. Now if I can work it down another 30 seconds with the same effort I'll be where I want to be.

Although slow (intentionally) my HR has dropped almost 20 BPM over the last two months on the same run. Now if I can just get this foot healed I can start some real training. After this run I had to take a day off as my foot was really hurting. It seems these slow runs hurt it more than the faster ones.

Had to take another day off of running because of my foot so I rode my bike into the darkness of the morning for about an hour and a half.

23.5 Miles @ 17 MPH Avg. - 133 Avg HR

I translate this ride to about a 7 mile run @ 9:00 Pace.

I am in much better shape than I was exactly two months ago. Below is my run today and then the same run results two months ago. 7:57 pace today verses 9:40 pace two months ago with virtually the same effort. Now if I can just get this foot problem worked out!
