Well another day off...Haven't taken 3 days in a row off since I started running almost a year ago. The knee fells better, swelling has gone down quite a bit. It really only hurts when I bend it about 90 degrees, just a little tight otherwise. I still plan to run on Monday if it doesn't feel worse or get better.

How long can you lay off before you start to loose the conditioning and endurance you've worked months to gain?

Romans 12:12
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

0 miles again today. The problem was not the knee, I planned to go to the gym to run the treadmill but as I went to bed I started to feel really achy. By midnight I had chills (flue-like symtoms) and had to get up and put more blankets on as well as socks and a t-shirt.Needless to say I turned my alarm off and slept in. I felt about 75% when I woke up so I went ahead and came to work. I really didn't want to but have meetings with lawyers today...

Ok....Tomorrow the treadmill....! My knee feels much better, I think it's ready to go...

1 Corinthians 11:17
“In the following directives I have no praise for you, for your meetings do more harm than good.”

Well we'll see if I did more harm than good with today's run....time will tell the truth. Felt some mild discomfort during the run, but nothing seemed to get worse. Came to the office and sat in a 1.5 hr meeting then was able to ice the knee for about 20-30 minutes then had to go to Austin for another 2 hr meeting... I bought a knee brace an wore it for about 4 hours but I think it irritates the knee cap more than it does any good. I have no pain when I walk but I did notice going down stairs it hurts a little. Oh well, we'll see tomorrow if it's better or worse...?

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

One mile on the treadmill @ 12 min pace.  Did a few leg exercises that did not irritate the knee. Lifted a few weights.

Ezekiel 7:17
"Every hand will go limp; every leg will be wet with urine."

I know a guy who thinks urine is the cure for everything... He drinks it and puts it on cuts, rashes...everything! Maybe I need to pee on my knee!  : (
