Track Repeats today. Pretty easy as I only had to do (6) 400's. Ran one with a high school kid and then a 100 with him for his final repeat (It was FAST! :-)

My cold is starting to feel better so hopefully I'll be 100% by Sunday. Now if the weathermen can just get it wrong, as usual, things should be good for the race.

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

Good run to get those legs moving. Still hoping that forecast changes for you!

From DLTheo on Tue, Nov 12, 2013 at 13:51:57 from 76.28.161.119

Man, those last couple are blazingly fast. You might want to think about training for a sub-5:00 mile next.

Joe,

And for you...? Aren't you running the Half?

DL,

That sounds good...do you think it's possible? :-)

Im glad your cold is getting better.

Great choice today. Not too many repeats but you got the legs moving. I think we all need to find a high school kid for our track days.

Yeah, I am, but I would be more ticked if I was doing a marathon. I can't PR the half right now even with perfect weather so not as big a deal...

Nice track work ... Good luck Sunday Preston! & Joe!!

From derhammer on Thu, Nov 14, 2013 at 09:42:03 from 64.245.52.2

Good luck guys, looks like it still won't be as warm/humid as when I ran the half 2 years ago. Still, would have been nice if the cold front would have shifted 3-4 days. That's Texas for you. It can almost be counted on these days. Joe, don't sell yourself short. You can PR man.
