I ran the same route today as I did Monday and Wednesday.

Monday = 7:38 Pace, Tuesday = 7:37 Pace, Thursday = 7:16 Pace.

I added the Elevation Gain so you can see the contour of the route I ran.

This pace is starting to feel really good. I just need to be able to take it up a notch an run this for a full marathon.

Do you think forgetting the HR monitor helped or hurt you? Great pace, IJR.

I have run with a HR monitor so much I can pretty much tell exactly when the LT buildup begins so I believe I can run better with it strapped on but I also can often feel the effects coming on. The LT point is not always at the same HR so that's why I'm trying to recognize the feeling by not wearing the monitor sometimes. I'm hoping with the two I will be able to push harder at times and relax when needed. I've found that I typically run too slow downhill by HR and can often greatly improve my pace when I focus on HR on the downhills by keeping it up a little higher.
