I'm still a little under the weather but much better. Today I decided to run my normal 10 mile loop and run miles 3,6 & 9 fast. I was pretty winded at the end of each fast mile but the paces seemed to be pretty good (6:30, 6:21 & 6:13). I am still laboring with the breathing after each fast mile. I don't remember ever doing this run before and may try it again when I'm feeling 100%. I would like to see if I could get my fast miles right at 6:00 pace and all the others average something like 8:30.

Still a little under the weather.

Hey if you weren't breathing hard after a 6:13, it would be time to turn pro! Great run, I'm sure you'll see improvements when you're recovered from your illness.

Great run Preston! I have more work to do than I realized if I am going to try to keep pace with you in 100 days!

Nice run..... "Wicked Fast"! It's a Boston saying :)

Glad to hear you're coming around. 6:00/8:30 looks like a great target for your fast/recovery miles. I like the idea of this workout. You're getting the benefit of some speed and you're also getting it at different times during a little longer run. You're also teaching yourself to recover at different times, too. Going to have to try this.

Are you sure you are sick? Because these times lead me to believe that maybe....not so much. Nice run, IJR!

Really good-looking run, especially the last fast one. Congratulations.
