Fairly sucessful 20 mile run but I do think I'm a little behind in my training. The weather just hasn't cooperated very well and I'm not as tough as Joe is to be able to train right through it.

Another track workout. I started out really sluggish and feeling like I couldn't achieve the goal. I was supprised after the third rep that I had actually dropped my time. The goal was 6 800m reps at 2:58 with a 1:30 recovery between. I took more time between the reps as it was really hot and humid and I felt like I needed to let my core temp cool down a little.

I'll write more details when I get back in town next week but this wasn't a great race for me. I didn't really feel good about my running. My pace was about 30 seconds slower than my best Half Marathon pace. I felt tired and sore.

6th overall out of 61  -  2nd in my Age Group.

It was good to see Joe at this race. The weather was a little nasty, but it was still fun.

(12) 400's @ avg time of 1:23. Took 1:30 active recovery between the first six, then 2:30 between 6-7, and then 1:30 between the 7-12.

Not quite as good as I've done before but it was 82 degrees in the afternoon when I ran.

Finally back from the business trip. I got sick on the trip and just couldn't run. Still have some respiratory problems but much better.

This was the very same run as I did on 10/3 with almost the exact same time and results. I wasn't targeting that, it's just how it came out.
