This is my 4th 10 mile run since I started running again 2 months ago. It is the lowest HR run of any run I have done, long or short since I started back. I believe it shows good improvement in my cardio. On the negative side, my foot was really, really sore to start out today but on sore by the time I finished.

Longest run since February of this year. The I averaged 7:39 @ 153 HR. I have a way to go! The weather conditions were much better in February as you can imagine. :-)

I wasn't planning on a 15 miler but I woke up at 4:00 am and just couldn't go back to sleep. I finally decided to go out and run during the Tom Slick hours.

It's taken my foot a few days to recover from the 15 mile run last Thursday. It was really sore for a couple of days. so I rode my bike on Sunday instead of running. I am getting in better shape as below show "Less Effort = Faster Pace" compared to a month ago where ran the same run with the effort but 45 seconds per mile slower.

Back home but didn't get here until 3 am. Slept in and ran late which was a mistake. 85 degrees, 90% humidity, 70 degree dewpoint. Ran/walked 8 miles keeping my HR at 130 low and up to 142 high.

Drove home from Oklahoma yesterday so no running.

A little tired this morning but managed to get out for a 10 miler. I'm still waiting on a nice cool front so I can have my break-thru run. :-)

Nothing special on this run but I did manage a decent progressive effort run from start to finish. I am definitly putting out less effort and running faster than a month ago. I have gained about a full minute per mile with the the same HR Average. Now if I can work it down another 30 seconds with the same effort I'll be where I want to be.

Although slow (intentionally) my HR has dropped almost 20 BPM over the last two months on the same run. Now if I can just get this foot healed I can start some real training. After this run I had to take a day off as my foot was really hurting. It seems these slow runs hurt it more than the faster ones.
