20 Biking miles @ 19.5 mph then 3 Running miles @ 7:58 pace.
This is ridiculous!
A joyful heart is good medicine, but depression drains one’s strength.

Ridiculous how???? Seems like a great workout. You are on the brink of avg 20 mph....and when that is solo that is pretty darn fast.

Ridiculous is how the run felt and went. I feel like a snail...actually one that's been stepped on. Really sluggish and stiff.
Regarding the ride, I've averaged over 20 mph on a couple of 20 mile rides and 19.7 a couple of times on 30 mile rides. The 30 mile route has an elevation gain of about 1250 feet so it's not real flat :-)

I imagine you'll have some sluggish runs for a bit, even after you heal. Hopefully this fall you can start letting 'er rip again!

Hey 7:58 after just getting going, there is nothing wrong with that! Nice to see you out this week!

That's a good pace, and I can tell you from earlier in the summer it takes a while to get going again. Be patient and don't push it too hard, it's the sort of thing that just comes to you.
