Ran the small loop again this morning. The foot is the same but with the soreness I guess I've changed my stride and now my left heel is a little sore. Probably compensating for the sore right foot/toe.

7 miles with a little more effort proves:  more effort = faster pace. That's all I know.

I'm glad to hear the formula is still working. When more effort = slower pace there just might be something wrong. Maybe.

How does the pain post surgery compare to pre surgery?

From SlowJoe on Tue, Jul 28, 2015 at 19:05:04 from 45.18.50.53

I'm still hoping for less effort = faster pace. Haven't experienced that one yet though.

From Dan on Tue, Jul 28, 2015 at 19:12:27 from 65.27.167.94

Well you are faster than I am at this point. However I am using the less effort formula. Going to have to figure that one out.

From Tom Slick on Wed, Jul 29, 2015 at 16:04:31 from 50.8.100.37

don't wait till you get any older to start any method listed above,'cause they all end with getting slower with more effort and enjoying it less.

Russ,

the pain is probably about the same. Hopefully this is healing pain I'm feeling now. (the doc said its normal to have some pain) My problem is I never know what's too much.

From Hillbilly Runner on Wed, Jul 29, 2015 at 19:31:08 from 76.122.210.58

IJR it's hard to know when to push it and when to rest it. I wish there was a easy answer but you just have to feel your way through it. Good Luck
