Had to track back to look at some earlier blogs, looks like the biking is precautionary more than anything? I don't own a bike but did quite a bit of spinning earlier this year. High degree of respect for that, it is very hard work, I think mainly because it seems to only use the quads.

Yes...I am biking to try and make sure my foot issue doesn't get worse and hopefully gets better. I ran for months with the discomfort. Sometimes it was worse and sometimes better but it always felt better as I ran. I did some research and it appears to be the classic 2nd Metatarsal Overload Syndrome. The symptoms fits what I have exactly, right down to the formation of a large callus right behind that toe. I am going to one of the running stores in New Braunfels that has a large selection of orthotics and hopefully get something that might fix the problem.

Anyway, biking is going to be the mainstay of my workout for a while...until I get this foot thing resolved. I want to get back to some fast 5K stuff soon. I keep having issues when I begin that training. :-(

So your thinking about doing the CIM in December? Tell me more! I'm thinking about doing Athens Greece in November but I'm not sure it will work out this year!

I'm pretty sure I will...and will run a 3:12!

I don't know much about it, just know a couple of friends that suggested it was a good one to run.

OK, IJR, I posted a photo. It's my favorite Boston Finish Photo.(2007)
