This might be your shortest blog entry ever. Nice paces.

DH,

My 5K Race Report was so long I though I should make up for it here.

From derhammer on Tue, May 27, 2014 at 15:31:40 from 64.245.52.2

Yeah, about that race - hard to say - I was ecstatic to have run what I did at my recent 5k even though I was 20 seconds off my PR. I do believe you recently ran a marathon and a relay, and maybe I missed it but I didn't see you doing a lot of 400s, 800s and mile repeats. So in a way you should be happy to have met your time that you ran last year. Focus on 5k training and that time is going to drop quickly.

Where is Preston....?

I'm still here!!!

I decided to take a break for a few days. I thought it might be good to take one since I've been running pretty hard for months now. Also, I've had a little ongoing foot issue. It's not been enough to keep me from running but I was hoping a little rest might let it heal up.

Good to press the reset button every once and awhile.

Hey, I just signed up for the Chosen Half, over in your neck of the woods...if you decide to run it, let me know - some friends of ours have a "team" as they are trying to adopt, and you can select it as you sign up, if you're not running for one already. I think it just means your entry fee helps cover adoption expenses...

Joe,

Yes, I plan to run the Chosen Half this fall...But Man, I was going for the win this year and now I have to try and beat you and all your minions! Maybe I'll bring all of my "super" senior master friends to battle you guys!

From SlowJoe on Mon, Jun 02, 2014 at 16:42:10 from 66.69.93.8

Good news - I don't have any minions so you can still go for the win.

When I signed up, it let me add the Orange Leaf 5k for only 5 bucks!
