Well, I couldn't decide if I should run 5 or 15 miles so I just went out and ran 16.15 Ha ha...

Also, I couldn't decide how fast to run so I just decided to run marathon pace for as long as it felt comfortable. Come to find out I could do it for the entire distance. I was actually trying to keep my HR below 150 as a guideline. When I finished it felt like I had just run 3/4 of a marathon...wait a minute, I guess I did. Actually, I flet pretty good throughout the run except for at mile 10 my knee acted as if it were going to lock up with the sharp pains and all. I kept running and after about a half mile the sharp pain stopped. After the run, throughout the day, my knee has stayed a little sore. We'll see what it's like tomorrow.

Here's the details:

Terrific heart rate for that pace, glad you made it to the church!

Nice run. I probably would have stopped with the pain - I am a wimp though. I guess if you are in the middle of no where you need to get to home somehow.

Nice run, looks like your fitness has returned. I hope you sat in the back row at church!

Great run & very consistent splits ... I am with Joe on that one, I laughed when I saw your final destination was church!

Hey Flat...Thanks, my problem, starting in August is our church is moving another 10 miles away. The direct route will now be 23 miles. I'll almost be running a full marathon every Sunday :)

Der Hammer,

I really wanted to stop for a few minutes!

Joe,

I don't feel my fitness has returned but my determination has. It's a good thing our church is pretty casual...people in shorts, work clothes, etc. I fit in well.

JG,

Hey...gotta have some insentive to finish the run...!
