Oh no! Prayers for a quick recovery.

From SlowJoe on Fri, Mar 20, 2015 at 19:02:14 from 104.51.208.13

Ah, crud. Any word on the timeline for returning to running?

From I Just Run on Fri, Mar 20, 2015 at 19:31:55 from 66.102.7.173

MRI today. Visit the doctor next Wednesday for evaluation and operation. Plan. the best option is to just sew the torn tendon back. The second option requires cutting the bone and wrapping another tendon around the top of my toe...or something like that.

From rAtTLeTrAp on Fri, Mar 20, 2015 at 19:36:16 from 75.165.125.194

The first option sounds like a lot less recovery time. Cutting bones should definitely be plan B, or C.

What rattletrap said.

As much as it stinks, glad you have some answers. What does the doc think about you returning to running after the surgery?

From Tom Slick on Sat, Mar 21, 2015 at 08:21:42 from 69.171.160.117

Good luck and Gods speed! Take the least invasive procedure and then get your stuff together so you can run the 2016 Boston Marathon with me....Ya know what I mean?

From Matt Schreiber on Sun, Mar 22, 2015 at 21:42:40 from 66.17.102.175

Bummer man! Makes me feel like a whiner with my shin splints. Get well soon!

From Rhett on Tue, Mar 24, 2015 at 12:15:40 from 24.121.0.8

At least you will be on your way to being mended and running again. Best wishes.
