I love Track Repeats....! Today was 10 x 400 @ 1:27 Pace on the RLRF program with 400m active recover, 2 miles warm-up and 2 miles cool-down.

I decided to begin picking up the pace after the 4th one and then I ran 2 extra just because I felt good and wanted to. Slowest 400m (1:27), Fastest 400m (1:07).

Proverbs 30:18-19
There are three things that amaze me—
no, four things that I don’t understand:
how an eagle glides through the sky,
how a snake slithers on a rock,
how a ship navigates the ocean,
how a man loves a woman.

Okay, I just checked out your race report. Holy &*())! Way to go! You kicked some trash. This program is working very well for you. It all came together. Congrats again. When we do run together you will have to tone it down for me.

From I Just Run on Tue, Jan 31, 2012 at 15:58:43 from 67.79.11.242

Ok Rye....come to Cowtown and I'll run any pace you want to run :-)

From SlowJoe on Tue, Jan 31, 2012 at 19:34:12 from 74.195.74.62

Wow yeah, you pretty much thumbed your nose at the prescribed pace and killed the last few. Really impressive a couple days after a fast 13.1 race. Are you sure you're 50 years old?

From I Just Run on Tue, Jan 31, 2012 at 20:57:31 from 166.147.78.51

I'm almost 52... :-(

From SlowJoe on Tue, Jan 31, 2012 at 21:07:42 from 74.195.74.62

You run like you're 19!

From I Just Run on Tue, Jan 31, 2012 at 21:31:53 from 166.147.78.51

I've heard 30 year olds are better marathoner...I'd rather run like a 30 year old :-)

From Dan on Tue, Jan 31, 2012 at 21:34:29 from 24.209.83.20

Nice repeats for a 19 year old... or was it 30... I can never remember

From I Just Run on Tue, Jan 31, 2012 at 21:40:07 from 166.147.78.51

You have to add 30 + 19 ....wait, that's still not enough :-(

From rAtTLeTrAp on Wed, Feb 01, 2012 at 10:39:09 from 174.253.219.52

Gotta love those days when the run is over and you want to keep going! I can't wait to read your next marathon report.

From Steam8 on Wed, Feb 01, 2012 at 18:32:57 from 166.70.55.77

You love track repeats? Can we trade bodies? ha! Nice workout!!

From I Just Run on Wed, Feb 01, 2012 at 22:14:38 from 12.162.141.2

No..no..no Steam, you're young and I'm old :-( You have years to improve, I've only got a couple!
