Well, today was much better than yesterday. My legs didn't feel nearly as heavy. I'm not exactly sure how to log todays run since it was just above easy (which I catagorize as 140 HR or less). I guess I could call it half easy and half MP but the fastest of the miles are a little too slow to be called MP. I'm considering anything at 8:00 or below MP even though my only marathon run (injured) was 8:19 (I'm still mad about that!). Man it feels hot and humid down here. As soon as I step out the door I start sweating. I lost 6 pounds on this run.

I know what you mean. Those miles that are between marathon pace and about 30 seconds slower than MP aren't really all that easy. At least not for me. It would be nice to have one more category.

Nice run! 25 miles in 2 days!! Are you training for marathon or something? :-)

Welcome back to Texas. Based on that scripture, I think Adam is from here.

Hey Dave,

Let's make up a name for it...Maybe AMP (Almost Marathon Pace...?)

JG,

Yes possibly...Have you heard of TOU Marathon? Some of my good friends are trying to convince me to enter and run that race :-)

Flat,

Yes, but only after the fall!

Welcome back. I run a lot of miles like that too, hoping that they are doing something for me.

I love that scripture!

Man, you are in good shape! I wish I could run 13 that fast! How is that knee? Must be doing fine!

From I Just Run on Wed, Jul 13, 2011 at 11:32:29 from 67.79.11.242

Steam,

You can run 13 that fast; I've looked at your running accomplishments! I think you and I could run right together at any distance :-)

The knee is still bothering me but not getting worse. No swelling or inflammation, no weakness or real mobility problems. It is sore to touch and sometimes aches a little. The cycle has been the same for the last couple of weeks...Very little soreness in the morning, run, gets sore after the run, slight pain during the day, better by evening and repeat... You'd think running 70 miles per week would make it worse if it were something serious. I really think it's another bone spur or maybe I'm just old and its arthritis :-(
