Revovery Day...

I'ts amazing what one day of recovery will do. Yesterday my feet, calves and right knee were all really sore and tired. Today I feel like I could go out and run fairly comfortably...but I'm going to wait a few more days.

Repent

·             Luke 24:47: "and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in
His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem."

·             Acts 2:38: "Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the
name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the
gift of the Holy Spirit.""

I read your race report last week, but as I'm kinda a lurker, I silently congratulated you...

But I just wanted to say that you ran a great first marathon in those horrible conditions, and given that your body is not at full ability, I'm totally impressed. I hope you have another marathon in mind already!

Hi Tracy,

Thanks for the silence...I mean silent congratulations. Just between you and I, I was secretly pleased with what I accomplished. I do plan to do much better in my next race though. I've been looking around to try and find a marathon before September 1st (BQ deadline for 2012). Do you know of anything in your area this summer?

BTW...we have family in Effingham (Lake Sarah),Illinois. We go and visit them around the 4th of July almost every year. They used to live in Champaign...that's near you!
