AMP Miles today. It seemed very hot and steamy today and I never really felt comfortable. Ran up on a huge bull that apparently had gotten out of someone's pasture. It was sitting about 3 feet off the road also the cyotetes are getting very brave on lonley road. It seemed they were only about a hundread yards away and howling like crazy. It's a little spooky at 5:30 and pretty much pitch black :-(

Nebuchadnezzar went near the opening of the furnace of flaming fire and said, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the fire.

It is spooky sometimes on those back roads in the dark. Never saw a bull (on the wrong side of the fence) though.

I think I would have turned around & run the other way! Alex saw about a 6' snake on the trail today. Nice run!

I'm always running into a lot of critters on my runs but none as big and intimidating as a bull on the road! I did run into a bear though while running on a trail in Yosemite last year and one in Pennsylvania on a bike.

Your 3rd mile was the fastest. Just wondered if that was when you saw the bull or the coyotes?

From I Just Run on Fri, Jul 22, 2011 at 20:19:40 from 166.205.14.210

Ha ha..It was . the coyotes that scared me.

Wow, some adventure. I don't like running in lonely places at night, I stick to my neighborhood.

From I Just Run on Sat, Jul 23, 2011 at 18:37:53 from 166.205.12.46

Ha ha Flat, this is my neighbourhood!

That is toooo spooky! I don't know what would be worse going later and braving the heat or braving the bull and coyotes! yikes!

From Dan on Sun, Jul 24, 2011 at 23:34:29 from 24.209.83.20
